
Memorial erected by the Soviets at the site of the mass grave of the Jews of Grobina murdered in 1941 stating that it represents a memorial to the victims of Fascism rather than that it was a grave of murdered Jews.

An ancestestral family home of Blumberg family at 50 Liela Iela, Liepaja.

Jonathan Blumberg at the Grobina Jewish Cemetery in May 2008. It was overgrown and only a few headstones are still legible.

The memorial notes the names of the Jews murdered in 1941 and buried in the mass grave at this site. It was erected with the help of the Grobina Municipality and facilitated by Vladimir Bahns,a resident of Liepaja, Henry Blumberg and Donald Hirschhorn descendants of residents of Grobina.
